The
Stanford Business School Alumni Association and the UK Chapter are pleased
to bring Career Services to London! On Tuesday, April 30, 2002. SBSAA
will be presenting a workshop on "Surviving in Today's Job Market".
Tough times call for creative approaches to find the next career step.
With a recession and a layoff-scarred labour force, the GSB Alumni Office
has organized a career workshop designed to give alumni an additional
edge in developing their career strategy. Topics to be addressed include:
What is the outlook for the local hiring environment?
How best to position/market yourself in today's crowded market?
What are the best resources to use to help in a job search?
How does the market affect one's ability to transition between
industries and functions?
How to pick up and move forward after a lay-off?
April 30, 2002 Workshop Registration:
Cost is US$30 per person, which includes an hors d'oeuvres reception and
beverages. Please note that no tickets will be mailed; your name will
be at the door.
