The Stanford Club of Great Britain will be holding a black-tie gala dinner at the Berkeley Hotel in London on Thursday 18 March 2004. Please reserve the date in your diary. We look forward to seeing you there. Formal invitations will be coming through the post shortly. We are fortunate to have Mr. Rod Eddington, Chief Executive of British Airways plc speak to us about the challenges of managing a truly international business. Mr. Eddington was at the Stanford GSB in 1991.

The Stanford Club of Great Britain's aim is for alumni from all university disciplines to connect with old friends and classmates through a variety of interesting social and educational events. The club, one of the network of alumni clubs among the Stanford Alumni Association, is run by alums for alums and is entirely self-financing. We have organised this dinner to:

• reconnect with "lost" friends;
• welcome new alumni to the club; inform our members of our activities;
• and most importantly,
• enjoy an evening with our peers. For further information: contact our Events Director – events@stanfordalumni.org.uk
