Traditional Tuscan - Podere Poggio Scalette Il Carbonaione 1999 Robert Parker rated this Tuscan 100% Sangiovese 90+ points "The dense ruby/purple-colored 1999 reveals a sweet perfume of tobacco smoke, ripe black cherries, black currants, vanilla, cedar, and spice" Classic Bordeaux - Alter Ego de Château Palmer 2000 A great wine from this leading estate in Margaux in a phenomenal vintage "The 2000 Alter Ego de Château Palmer exhibits plenty of plump, fat, fleshy fruit, medium to full body, and an accessible style" Botrytised Sweet - Tenuta Antinori Muffato della Sala 2001 This Sauternes-like offering from the historical Antinori house based in Florence will conclude our dinner with its golden colour and its harmonious aromas of peach and honey. * * * * * Attendance is limited to 50 guests, so book early to avoid disappointment.
