TABOOS (When Harriet Met Sally) By Carl Djerassi What do a pioneering West Coast urologist, a celebrated TV presenter, a hip, single San Francisco lawyer and a God-fearing, childless couple from the Southern American bible-belt have in common? They all want to be a parent. Sally wants to have a chilled with Harriet. They believe they can simply make a family by mixing the necessary biological ingredients. All they need is some sperm and Harriet’s brother Max is happy to oblige. Meanwhile, Sally’s brother Cameron and wife Priscilla are desperate to have a baby. They just need an egg donor and Harriet is happy to volunteer. But when Harriet decides she also wants a baby and uses sperm from Cameron, a uniquely tangled emotional mess results...
