The rise of India (along with China) will lead to major readjustment of geopolitics in the 21st century. In a globalized world, success of national economies is increasingly underpinned by their ability to create, absorb and exploit high technology. As India begins to grasp these realities, its appetite for developing its research and technology enterprise will grow dramatically. I believe this will offer huge opportunities for universities and corporations for forging win-win relationships with India. This talk will offer a personal perspective of this coming revolution.
Prof. Paulraj is considered the father of Wimax technology. Paulraj works in the area of space-time wireless communications and is interested in related channel capacity, channel models, channel coding, precoding, receiver design and network performance for such systems.
